  • Department Programmer (Open until filled)The South Dakota Office of the Attorney General is seeking an innovative and motivated individual to join their IT team as the main department programmer. The incumbent will play a key role on a team involved in the design, development, programming, testing, and deployment of a Statewide Victim Notification (SAVIN) application; SAVIN is a brand new program being created and implemented in house by the Office of Attorney General. The incumbent selected will also be responsible for creating and maintaining applications and websites for the department, as well as work with vendors to support current applications; will be expected to quickly assume a high level of responsibility for learning these applications, to include installation, programming, maintenance and ongoing support; and must have a programming background, as well as have the ability to identify and resolve technical problems in upcoming projects, which will include project planning, prioritization, and resolution of technical issues.
