Welcome to the DCI Website, where you will find a

It is my privilege to serve
as the Director of an organization that places a high emphasis
on professionalism and service. The DCI has deep roots
in South Dakota law enforcement. Since it’s inception,
it has evolved into one of South Dakota’s premier law enforcement
organizations.
There are many changes occurring
as we attempt to keep up with the ever-evolving world of
technology. The advances in technology and forensic science
have changed many facets of criminal investigations. Staff
at DCI is continually training to stay current with these
emerging trends so we may better serve the citizens of
this great state.
